Enjoy the fast and flat 5k course through Hatfield neighborhoods and parks, followed by free admission to the Hatfield Aquatic Center! This is NOT your average community pool, but a mini water park! Pool is ONLY open to runners and their families, from approximately 7:15 -10 pm on August 15th! Project muse books.

This Event Took Place Sat. See the 2020 event. Zebra Dash 5k & Fun Run. We are excited to announce the 10th anniversary of the Zebra Dash! The first 200 to register will receive a commemorative Zebra Dash medal! See the design in the pics above. Age group award winners will receive a medal as well. UMass Dining is excited to host the Ninth Annual 5K Dash & Dine on Saturday, April 7th, 2018! This event is open to both students and the community with the goal to raise funds for the Amherst Survival Center. We hope you join us for lunch immediately after the run/walk!
Runner's admission to the pool is included in their race entry fee (show your bib at the door). Family members of runners can attend the pool party for $2/per person. Pool admission can be purchased at the event.Chip timing, tech shirts, AMAZING FINISHER MEDAL, food, and much more! Awards for 1st-3rd place given to all age groups. Chestnut Street will close at 6:30 pm in preparation for the races.
Please note, cars cannot exit the Chestnut Street lot until the conclusion of the race (approximately 8:00 pm).Packets: Packet pick-up will be held on event day, Wednesday, August 15, 2018, beginning at 5:00 pm at the Hatfield Aquatic Center.Course: Same as last year - click here for the course map! The race begins and ends at the Hatfield Aquatic Center. Please remember, this is a share the road event (very low traffic). Runners are asked to stay to the right at all times. Police and township officials will be on the course to ensure runner safety.
